Senior Compensation Analyst

Overview
We're looking for a highly analytical Senior Compensation Analyst to help design, analyze, and optimize compensation programs across a global organization. This is a strategic, data-driven role focused on building scalable pay structures, delivering actionable insights, and ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices.
You'll partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to translate complex compensation data into meaningful insights using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Workday.
What You'll Do
Compensation Strategy & Program Design
- Support development of global compensation frameworks, including salary structures, incentive plans, and pay guidelines
- Build and maintain salary bands aligned to market data, internal equity, and geographic differences
- Provide data-driven recommendations for offers, promotions, and off-cycle adjustments
Data Analytics & Insights
- Analyze large and complex compensation datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities (e.g., pay equity, compression, outliers)
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to guide compensation decisions
- Deliver clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
Market Benchmarking & Survey Management
- Participate in and manage compensation surveys (Radford, Mercer, WTW, etc.)
- Map internal roles to external benchmarks with accuracy and consistency
- Translate market data into actionable compensation strategies
Dashboarding & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau
- Develop self-service reporting tools for stakeholders
- Present insights through intuitive and impactful data visualization
Systems & Data Integrity
- Act as a subject matter expert in Workday Compensation and reporting
- Maintain accurate job architecture, job codes, and compensation data
- Partner with HRIS teams to enhance data governance and reporting capabilities
Global Compensation Support
- Support compensation programs across multiple regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC)
- Ensure alignment with local market practices and regulatory requirements
- Advise on global pay considerations, including currency and labor cost differences
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 5-8+ years of compensation experience with strong analytical focus
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets and compensation modeling
- Advanced skills in:
- Power BI and/or Tableau (dashboard creation)
- Workday Compensation and reporting
- Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, modeling)
- Strong experience with market data, salary benchmarking, and pay structures
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
